I’m Christina, and I’m the scribbling writer. Ever since I was a little girl I have been writing stories. I even wrote a soap opera production in the fifth grade, that we performed in class. Sadly, now as an adult, I cuss like a sailor and scandalously read romance novels. (Yes, I have read all “Fifty Shades of Grey”).
I moved to New Orleans when I was nineteen because I needed to find myself. Moving there opened my eyes to the world and made me see that I was really not as worldly as I had thought!
My next stage in life took me back to California where I met my husband. We have two beautiful children (well I think they are beautiful!) and live in the great state of Oregon. After meeting my husband my writing bug began to persist to come out. I began picking up journals and scribbling when ever the wind blew. One day, after watching Julia and Julia, I decided to create a blog. This was called “GirlWriter.” I loved writing on that blog, all I did was share the stories I was working on. I didn’t expect anyone to read them, nor did I expect followers.
Of course my shyness kept me to myself. I stayed off of social media and did not advertise anything I had written. Self criticism was not very nice.
Then I decided perhaps I should write for another blog. Thus “Christina Writes Stuff” was born. There I wrote pretty much about anything. However, I began to notice that most of the time my stories began to seep in. So I began to wonder, perhaps I could do both.
As I came to this thought, I lost someone very dear to me and I put things on hold. My imagination was spinning its wheels once again.
Now that I am back I have a renewed determination. I have pushed myself to sign up for social media! I have even participated! Because of social media I have started to fall madly in love with graphic designing. So I am going to master that! I also have to give a shout out to the Kardashians, they taught me so much about working that social media!
Currently I am working on a book, as you can see on my promotions page. This is my second e-book. My first e-book I published but kept to myself, again self doubt. However, this second one I am going to hustle like a pimp on a street corner! I really do love writing, and I work hard at it. Despite what other people might think, I am actually really good! Or at least I think so…ha ha.
With this site, thescribblingwriter.wordpress.com, I plan on writing my little heart out. I will be giving advice from hard earned lessons I have encountered. I will be sharing my stories, letting you know where to find my books. Later I look forward to added graphic designing. I have created an indepth plan to get me to where I want to go, I hope you will join me on my journey! I love a good chat, so feel free to drop me a line. email@example.com!
